Cercetasa stia ca matusa sa fusese cam reticenta prima oara cand intrebase de parintii sai adevarati; dar poate ca ezitarea era naturala in astfel de cazuri. Poate ca matusii ei ii fusese greu sa revina in trecut, dupa atata timp. Totusi, era bine ca intr-un final cedase.
Tresari cand auzi vocea lui Ainsley, intreband-o de ce se afla in scrisoare.
- O am la mine, spuse ea. Ti-o dau acum.
Cauta prin buzunarul blugilor si scoase o bucata peticita de hartie. Scrisoarea se sifonase din cauza ca statuse intr-un loc atat de ingust, dar scrisul inca era vizibil.
