Se incrunta din nou. Adevarul era ca Ainsley nu ar fi intrebat-o niciodata asa ceva daca nu i-ar fi stiut din start raspunsul; nu putea sa riste ca Desiree sa spuna "nu", iar planul sa-i fie pus in primejdie. Se uita la colega sa si-i vazu zambetul intiparit pe chip. Arata diferit fata de alte dati, cand singurul lucru pe care il dorise era sa scape cu viata. Acum, parca tot curajul ei iesise la suprafata.
- Oare chiar am de ales? murmura Desiree, incet.
Ainsley isi intoarse privirea catre ea, intrebatoare, iar Cercetasa aproba usor din cap. Avea sa vina cu Ainsley - insa mai avea nevoie doar de un singur detaliu pentru ca povestea sa fie completa. Voia sa stie de ce incepusera toate astea.
