Perfect betrayal

“Thank you very much!” the kid bowed just a little and then waled to the counter.
“Don’t worry about it,” Kennya returned behind the counter also and grabbed one of the spare chairs. She lifted it over the counter and placed it on the side opposite her so the boy could have a place to sit. He slouched in the chair, leaning into it as he spread out.
“A, I should probably buy something so I’m not loitering.”

The slyherin girl shrugged her shoulders, “Whatever you want.” It really didn’t matter to her whether or not this kid bought anything. It was not like she worked in that shop. She just wanted a safe and quiet place to talk bussiness. She began resetting the cash register. A long roll of receipt paper began printing out numbers as Kath did her work with some products. Eventually the printing stopped and Kennyaa grabbed the paper to rip it off. She threw it lazily into the recycle bin near her feet and turned to face the youth.

“I’ll take a pack of those,” the boy pointed to a small package of cigarettes.
Kennya laughed, “Yeah, right. You’re how old? Don’t think so—”
“I’m serious!” He pouted.
“Alright,” Kennya smirked. She would play this kid’s game. “Let’s see some ID then.”
“Fine,” the kid reached for his wallet. He pulled out his ID and handed it to the girl who took it while still laughing.
“Ogata Andrew, no? Age twenty-two? Yeah, right. Who did you pilfer this from? Your older brother or something?”
“No!” Andrew crossed his arms over his chest and looked quite indignant. “For your information my brother and I don’t look that much alike that I could use his ID. That’s me. I’m twenty-two!”

"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."
